Our dentists

Philip Sommereux B.D.S (U.DUND) DipImpDent RCS (Eng) Principal Dentist Phil has been the principal dentist at this practice since June 1988. He has successfully achieved a Diploma in Implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and also has a special interest  in cosmetic dentistry and gum health. Professional memberships include: Association of Dental Implantology British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Faculty of General Dental Practice

Ian Kendal L.D.S R.C.S(LOND) Associate Dentist   Ian qualified in 1978 with a degree from the Royal College of Surgeons, and has been with the practice since August 2004.

Our manager

Karen Cassar Practice Manager   Karen joined Phil's practice in 1991. She is a qualified dental nurse, dental radiographer and oral health educator. Karen is responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice and welcomes your feedback.

Our hygienists

Annette Threlfall E.D.H Juliet Reynolds E.D.H Hygienist Hygienist Andrew and Juliet aren't just oral health experts. They also advise on dental home care and run educative programmes in local schools. If you'd like them to visit your school, please call us on 023 8061 2487 or

Our nurses and receptionists

Zoe enjoys walking, cycling, reading, music and holidays in Cornwall.				Hannah loves animals and has a cat and dog. She has recently bought her first house.
Iwona spends her spare time scrapbooking, listening to music and she loves watching movies.				Angie enjoys socializing with friends, cooking, playing netball and watching live music.
Hayley joined us on May 4th 2010 as a trainee dental nurse, her interests include cake decorating, cooking and listening to music. (Awaiting photo)
